What is a Man-in-the-Middle Attack?
Much like Phishing and Pharming, the goal of this type of internet scam is to gain access to confidential information. An unwanted third party proxies traffic back and forth between a user and a website, recording the entire transaction.
Farming or "Pharming?"
Though Pharming attacks are not as well known, they are a serious threat to unsuspecting consumers. The main threat is that they are extremely difficult to detect and can be perpetrated in many ways.
